CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF VALENCIA is a public non-profit organization, created by law on 1886.
As a public entity, the Chamber represents nowadays more than 170.500 companies in the province of Valencia. 3.171 of those companies are joined more closely to the Chamber, and are part of the “Valencia Chambers’ Club”. The 99% of the companies in the province of Valencia are SMEs.
The Valencia Chamber relies on an ample experience in backing SMEs. The main areas of work of the Chamber are: information, training and advice to businesses and entrepreneurs, innovation, international trade, internal market, tourism, environment, transports, laws, etc.
The specific area of training of the Chamber is developed by the “Lluis Vives Business School”. The mission of the Business School is to provide quality training, tailored to the needs of the business environment, through the use of innovative human and material resources, and in close collaboration with the business community.
Valencia Chamber provides regular support to people with disabilities in an inclusive manner, of course providing them access to the same services that are provided to all students, entrepreneurs and businessmen.
In the area of training the Chamber have developed activities more specifically headed to disabled people, through the PICE Programme (Integrated Programme for Qualification and Employment), developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
Along 2016, 42 young unemployed physical disabled people participated in PICE. They received in the Chamber an initial orientation, and access to a learning path ranging from the registration in the National System of Youth Guarantee, to the possibility of access to measures and actions of approach to business and favouring integration into the labour market.
AMICA is a non-profit organization established in 1984 whose mission is to discover the capabilities that exist in every person and their limitations in supporting, encouraging the greatest possible autonomy, enjoyment of basic rights and citizenship responsibilities and participation in the community.
AMICA will mainly deliver to the project its experience in enhancing the labor insertion of Persons with Disabilities and development of adapted training methodologies and dissemination for this collective.
AMICA consists of families, persons with disabilities and professionals. Represents a model of direct involvement of management and stakeholders. State level, by mainly operates in the autonomous community of Cantabria.
The Association has two Especial Employment Centres: SOEMCA EMPLOYMENT SL dedicated to the business of garment manufacturing and industrial washing and SAEMA EMPLOYMENT SL allocated to environmental activities. It has 26 cores and activity centers.
In 2015, it has supported 1493 people with disabilities through the following types of support: social care, multidisciplinary assessment, rehabilitation, personal support and home, day care, accommodation and support for independent living, training, employment and leisure. The team consist of 110 professionals.

The CERCIGUI - Co-operative Society for Education and Rehabilitation of Inadapted Citizens from the region of Guimarães is a non-profit organization, created in 1977 in order to support Guimarães’ population with mental disabilities as well as their families. Since then, the services done to the community have been expanded, even geographically. Nowadays, serves more than 500 people with different disabilities and their families through many services and programs, at the moment CERCIGUI have around 100 workers.

Nowadays, CERCIGUI serves over 450 people in the various spaces inside the institution and in schools in the region of Guimarães and Vizela, trough different support services and programs: Educational Centers, Domiciliary support service, Rehabilitation and Training Center, Two Occupational Activities Center, Two Residential Home, Inclusion Resources Center.
Our Mission: to promote social inclusion of people with disabilities in accordance with the code of ethics.
The services that we have are: 2 occupational centers; 2 residential homes; home care and a professional training center.
All these services are important to us but we can highlight the Occupational Centers, they are a social response that will meet the real needs of the person with disabilities. Our main goals are: stimulate and facilitate the possible development of the remaining abilities of people with disabilities; facilitate their social integration; facilitate referral of people with disabilities, whenever possible, to appropriate programs of social and professional integration.
CERCIGUI work with people with Intellectual Disabilities in two Occupational Activities Centers and the main objectives are: to promote social integration of people with deficiency; to keep young people motivated and interested and to stimulate their capacities. Some of activities are: agricultural tasks, laundry, handmade works, well-being, gardening, daily life activities, cars cleaning, weaving, recycling, entertainment, plastic arts, wood works, textiles. In our Professional Training Center, we have many areas and in two of them the clients learn cooking and pastry.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Institute for business education is one of the education and training providers for adults with longest tradition and experience in development, organization and implementation of professional and technical seminars, training courses, workshops, short- and long-term courses and other events for the needs of business subjects.
Orientation towards actual education, training and competences demands on the labour market enabled us to become one of the largest education and training providers for adults in Slovenia.
Institute has 25 years of experiences as a professional institution for carrying out public and other forms of education and training. Knowledge, years of experiences of our staff and cooperation with domestic and foreign experts enable us to develop and provide high-quality short-time and tailor made education and training programmes.c.
CUDV Draga “Education, Work and Care Center” was established by the government of Republica Slovenia as an umbrela organisation for the training, education, occupation, health care and rehabilitation for more than 450 children, adolescents and adults with moderate, severe and profound learning disabilities and sensory impairments.
The main aim of CUDV DRAGA is to give persons with mental impairments opportunities to learn, train, work and improve their quality of life in general.

Users have the possibility to comment and influence the decisions of the organisation during the regular meetings of the self-advocacy group.
Clients/students offer peer support in the learning process and important support during times of transition. Clients working in various positions within the centre support the functioning of the organisation (restaurant, kitchen, farm, laundering, house-keeping etc.). Clients active in sports activities, in art-groups ... offer entertainment to other clients. Some of them work in the restaurant in the city centre of Ljubljana. They contribute strongly to awareness raising activities.
The Centre employs to 460 workers and professionals. Experts from the Centre are also involved in education of staff and also give seminars for other educational organisations. From 1990 to 2002 some were involved in vocational programme for care workers and in the last 14 years, we are also involved in many international projects, mostly in the previous Lifelong Learning Programme and currently also in a Erasmus +.
